Yes, I love my lipstick and chapstick!     These are just the ones I have right now in my purse.     I can’t stand dry lips!!!!    I feel like I can’t talk without my lipstick on.    And,  I’m sure sometimes the Zman wishes he could hide them all from me for that very reason.   Which is exactly why I keep them stashed around the house, car, and my purse. 

And, I’ll also share with you that I love big hair.  Yep, I love big hair and I can not lie….  (got you singing again didn’t I) 🙂

What?        C’mon ladies, we should NOT blend in with the woodwork!     We are BEAUTIFUL!!!

So, pull out your lipstick and hairspray and rock the big hair and hot lips this weekend!      Be proud of it.      Be confident.      Be BEAUTIFUL!!!

A First For Everything

This is my first post on ZLifeBlog, and it’s very intimidating, so much so that I had to spell check the word intimidating! YIKES, maybe I’m already in over my head.  So… what to write about on my first blog post?  I mean, I want it to be interesting, exciting, encouraging and funny.  So what would any other smart girl do?  Turn to a page in one of her journals.  Yep, I decided that I was going to open my journal to any page and copy that entry as my first post on ZLifeBlog, so here goes….

“Journal Entry – March 7, 2011”

Everyday I thank God for loving me.  I feel like I need to pinch myself to make sure I’m not dreaming.  To realize that I’m actually living this life of happiness and love.  Last night ZMan rolled over, put his arm around me and pulled me close into him, inside his spoon, and then tangled his legs around mine.  I fell back to sleep with a smile on my face and a smile in my heart.  It’s the times that you do something so special, and you don’t even know it…. that is love.

Well, fast forward to February 26, 2014…  We are having salmon cakes for dinner, starting our at home exercise program tonight and trying to get through the 29th day of not smoking without physical harm.  Woo Hoo, now how’s that for a pinch of reality?   But, more on all of that later.  Much More! 😉

For right now, thank you for visiting my blog, I do hope you enjoy it.  I’ll be posting pictures, as soon as I figure out how!
